Sandbanks
English Channel
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
Overlooked by some of the world's most expensive properties, Sandbanks is also much sought after by fledgling wavesailors as it rarely gets bigger than chest-high. South-westerly is cross-shore, which can provide awesome jumping in a good blow. For bigger ramps below mid tide, sail upwind to Hook Sands where a group of offshore sandbars kick up some great waves. While moderate summer south-westerlies generally produce freeride conditions, north-easterlies can mean nice waves.
