Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:

Wave Sailing: Great wave riding can be had on midsize waves near the shore around mid-tide or for larger swells at low tide when they break on the reefs further out. Works with wind from the North or South but particularly clean in a South/South-Easterly. Strong currents can take some power out of the wind so rig accordingly.
Speed/flat water: In East to North-Easterlies with little swell you can get some great flat water sailing the length of the bay at low tide. Rocks are exposed on spring tides.
Tides: tidal range can be over 11m, the water reaches the slipway at around 7m and anything higher than 8m is pretty much un-sailable as the tide reaches the wall. When the tide is below 3.5m care needs to be taken as reefs will begin to show and below 2m the sailing area is quite restricted.
