This beach is particularly well suited to windsurfing in Garbi (south to south-westerly) or Xaloc (south-easterly). Garbi blows sideshore from the right, so the harbour-mouth absorbs any waves. Onshore Xaloc can blow up some chop though. Launching a kite is easier further south, and kiting's banned in summer anyway – when parking also gets tight.
