Sassi Neri
Molise, Abruzzo & Marche
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
On the southern side of Monte Cònero, Sassi Neri’s as beautiful as 'Portonovo' yet more authentic and less crowded. There’s a secret spot here, which only works in a north or north-westerly thermal. If it’s blowing 15 knots in 'Numana', Sassi Neri might be 25! You can only get here over a long, steep path – or from the ocean: sail north from Porto di Numana, tacking hard upwind for about 20 minutes (a 100L board’s ideal, with not too big a sail – maybe 5.5m / 5.8m). The beach is wonderful, while a rocky seabed means the water’s incredibly clear. There's even a little beach-bar and two 'bagnos', although they’re only open in summer.
