Sausset

Sadly, Sausset only works very rarely as the inshore wind shadow doesn’t give the breeze much of a chance – which pleases the surfers, as the reef-break here is as good as 'Carro'. The waves are even cleaner in a south-easterly than at it's better-known neighbour, but the break is technically much harder. The wind’s extremely gusty in the impact zone and the current can quickly rip onto one of many rocky groynes. The brave can head upwind to 'Le Virage’ in a south-easterly to ride clean waves right up to the foot of the cliffs.
