The summer thermal gets strongest here – you can count on wind from May to September, 4.7m weather most of the time. July and August is the best, but also most crowded time. Just be careful as the wind can suddenly shut off and the current is strong. It’s a shingle beach with (free) showers. Absolutely no kiting so near the high-voltage power lines – 'Galati' and 'Tremestieri' are the kite spots.
