Just east of Ryde, beyond the mini-golf courses and gardens of Puckpool Park, beginners, freestylers and speedsters appreciate the flat waters off the pretty little resort town of Seaview. Although there are rocks and a sea-wall to contend with at high tide, the water's waist-deep at mid-tide, then towards low water an offshore sandspit creates butter-flat lagoons.
