Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
New breakwaters protecting Sidmouth's eroding shingle beach have cleaned up the chop in this area – it's still not a very powerful wave, but it now offers good jumping and onshore waveriding. Windsurfers sail at any state of tide, while kiters prefer mid-tide and below when the water is least confused, the sandflats are exposed to rig on, and you can stand for 50m out. Park at the car-park near the cricket ground.
