Skerries
Dublin
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
Skerries has two beaches: North Beach (at the harbour) is Dublin’s only north-westerly spot. This direction produces small port tack jump-ramps, but it can also be sailed in north, north-east and easterlies. South Beach is a good option in a south-easterly, which is bolt onshore at many other places. Most of the time south-east to southerlies provide freeride to bump-&-jump conditions, although good waves can build in strong winds. North to north-easterlies often produce good port tack conditions at Irish champion Oisin Van Gelderen's home break.
