This place was made for waveriding, although it demands experience. On big days, don’t let go of your gear – no matter what – or you’ll have to scrape it off the jetty. Also, double-check your sail size as the wind’s up to 15 knots stronger on the outside than inshore. When it’s blowing less than 20 knots, Spiaggia d’Oro also attracts freeriders.
