If you find 'Stenstrand' too gnarly, you might enjoy this alternative on the other side of the headland. Flat water prevails here, only southerly to south-westerly winds create waves further out in the sound between the island and Örudden. The spot is on private land, so park in the woods then carry your kit the remaining 300m.
