Vilshärad
Swedish West Coast
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
Vilshärad deserves some respect as 2m-plus waves regularly break over a sandbank here – 4m is possible if a westerly storm backs southerly, with port-tack cross-shore wind. To the south of a beautiful long beach, this spot's almost as charming as the little chapel on the point. The wind here's often stronger and starts earlier than elsewhere in this area. Launching is possible in a west-north-westerly up towards 'Haverdahl’ at the northern end of the beach, but look out for a few submerged rocks about 50m offshore just a half-metre underwater. Talk to the locals before heading out!
