This multi-purpose venue offers mirror-flat water inside the estuary in westerly winds, and fun waves over outer sandbars in northerlies. It suits all sailing abilities and there's a great café at the car-park, although there's often a strong current in the deep channel, no water below mid-tide, and a serious increase in shipping traffic since the huge offshore windfarm was built.
