Westkapelle
Zeeland
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
The wide, sandy beach south of Westkapelle isn’t at all ugly, yet few ever sail here. It must be the atmosphere: the village cowers behind a high dyke on which a rusty tank and radar-tower stand guard. Out in the 'Westerschelde’ shipping lane, freighters chug by on their way to Antwerp and the odd ferry churns towards Britain from Vlissingen. This may be cool in Rotterdam, yet somehow it seems out of place in Zeeland.
