As its name suggests, Westward Ho! is exposed to its fair share of swell. The waves might not be as well defined as Saunton, but as it’s usually only ridden by locals it never gets that crowded. The gently shelving sand produces a plethora of different peaks, and new sandbars can occasionally improve the quality of this beach-break.
