Whiterocks
Northern Ireland
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
One of Northern Ireland’s best wave spots – even if it's not so reliable. Whiterocks hosts a beach-break that already packs a punch at chest-high. So remember, it’s always bigger outside than it looks from the beach! Ideal wind is westerly, which can be quite gusty so take a big board to get out through the break. As the wind veers north-westerly it gets more consistent and better for jumping; best around mid-tide. Again, only for experienced riders as rips and the rocks downwind make it pretty unforgiving. Portrush is a resort town with good party potential and loads of students.
