Wremen

While slightly nicer than 'Dorum' (4km north), despite its scenery Wremen’s little more than an alternative to Cuxhaven in south to south-easterly winds. But if you want the quickest drive from the south, all amenities are on tap right by the water (shared with countless campers in summer though). The visitor’s tax is only worth paying when there’s water, for five hours around high tide. Away from the tidal creek, ebb tide currents are moderate in this large standing-depth venue. In Wremen, do observe the clearly marked low emission zones.
